I Got Married!

2015 was a year of taking big big steps! Not only did I graduated and started working fulltime, I also got married!

It was definitly a day like I imagined it to be, eventhough getting married in november had me worried at first. But it couldn't have been more like fairytale. Golden leaves, and not to forget at celebration with my dearest friends and family at the Efteling!

I have to admit that it all happened quite sudden. Since I found a job with an upcoming yearcontract my husband decided to quit his job and come back to the Netherlands, so he could visit me for three months. We were sure we wanted to get married one day, at least in a one year span, and since his paperwork to get married was ready we we're like "OK, lets just do this now!' We had been engaged for a few years already, but really deciding when we would get married happend in a day. We went to the local government, chose the soonest date, and about three weeks later we got married! So unlike many couples we didn't go through a lot of planning. However we have proven that the most beautifull day of your life doesn't need thousands of euro's and months of planning. My dad had an oldtimer to take us to the cityhall, my mother knew a friend that could bake amazing cakes, and she had another friend that studied taking pictures of dogs, and wedding pictures aren't too different, right? Then I was also lucky that most of my close family already had a subscription to the Efteling, and for those who didn't we could get some tickets with a discount! So overall it really was the most amazing and cheapest wedding ever!
