BEIJING UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

 

Exchange program:  Advanced Chinese 

In the third year of my bachelor program I have been to the Beijing University of Technology for half a year. Here took the highest level Chinese classes, Advanced Chinese. This experience had not only improved my Chinese, but also my knowledge of  the Chinese culture.

During this course I took part in the following classes:
Advanced Chinese comprehension
Advanced Chinese pronounciation
Chinese calligraphy & Tai Chi
Business Chinese

Living abroad for half a year has been a great way to experience cultural differences and learn what it is like to actually be living in a foreign country for a while. During my stay I have also lived at my Chinese boyfriend's family house for about 2 months, and went to live at his university for about 2 weeks. Here I got a realistic idea of what the lives of average Chinese people looks like.
